Warm! ThermalDry® is a modular tile option that elevates flooring on top of plastic pegs, creating a thermal break between your cold basement floor and your family's feet.
In other words, ThermalDry® Floor Tiles make your basement floor surface 8 - 10 degrees (F) warmer than cold concrete!
Dry! Not only are they warmer to the toes, the specially crafted tiles allow air the circulate underneath, facilitating the drying of trapped vapors and moisture.
A vapor barrier and good air circulation are crucial components to long-lasting beauty and value for your basement refinishing project.
Smart! While no one plans for their basement to get wet, ThermalDry® tiles are designed to hold up to flooding conditions, whether from groundwater flooding or a plumbing failure.
Fashionable! You can opt for a uniform flooring appearance, or create your own style by mixing and matching different tiles for a unique design.
For example, you can create a parquet border to a carpeted zone, or make a checkerboard pattern from carpet tiles to create an architecturally designed look. Your only limit is your imagination!
ThermalDry® Basement Flooring is durable and made to last through common wear and tear, and yes, even moisture.
Unlike ceramic basement floor tiles, ThermalDry® basement flooring will never crack or shatter. They are stain resistant, and their interlocking design assures that damaged tiles can be easily replaced. Northland Basement Systems provides a limited warranty on ThermalDry® Basement Flooring.
Each ThermalDry® Floor Tile is provided with the following dimensions and design features:
Length x Width: 12" x 12" each tile
Makeup: Plastic peg base with vinyl face or carpeting. Available unfinished for wall-to-wall carpeting installation.
ThermalDry® basement flooring is available as sub-floor tiles, carpeted tiles, and vinyl-faced tiles.
Sub-floor tiles are unfinished so that you can install wall-to-wall carpeting on top of it. By not having the carpet on the concrete (the sub-floor tiles have a special grid pattern underneath), it will be warmer, dryer, and better smelling, too!
ThermalDry® Basement Flooring is installed by our professionals that are certified and trained by the International Total Basement Finishing headquarters.
