Cracked and Bowing Basement Walls and Wall Stabilization In Marquette, MI
Before
After
The homeowner was experiencing cracked and bowing foundation walls and it was very noticeable in the basement. We used our Geo-Lock wall anchors in order to stabilize the bowing walls, giving the customer peace if mind knowing the home is now safe for the whole family.
This customer was experiencing significant settlement in a corner of his garage. Our inspector recommended PolyLEVEL to stabilize and lift the affected area. Our technicians were able to stabilize and raise the floor to nearly it's original position. Our customer was pleased with the results.
After taking care of the ground water issues the lower portion of the walls were restored using mold proof EverLast Wall Panels. These panels are cement board, covered with a textured mold proof, washable, vinyl finish, and are backed with a 50 Year Warranty. This customer also chose one of our water resistant flooring systems, ThermalDry Carpeting.

I noticed signs of the basement wall beginning to buckle inwards and I am concerned about the stability of the wall. Would it be possible to get an inspection to determine the extent of the problem?
Thanks,
Hugo

We have a musty smell that is noticeable in various areas of the house. We have had some water in the corner of the basement during rain storms. At this time there isn't any water and we have not been able to determine where the smell is coming from.

I have two damp spots in my basement and I would them corrected. One is an external seal on a septic waste pipe that goes through a concrete block wall. The other is a seep into a finished space; I hope water diversion will help.

Our first winter in home, bathroom in lower level of bi-level home along fully buried basement wall has water seeping up through seams in linoleum tiles from wall and out about 2 feet. Can't tell if coming from wall or floor. Wall is finished over cement block. Had exrensive road work done from Jul-Oct on our street and house shook for a lot of that time. Worried something might have cracked.

We purchased our home in November knowing something was possibly going on. We have since, ran a dehumidifier, installed a seamless gutter system around the entire home and graded the perimeter away from the home as some spots had a slight grade towards the home. It was built in 1990 and we are unsure if draintile was installed. Since all of these repairs, we have not had any standing water. there is always a pencil line around almost the entire perimeter and it is barely wet at times. It is something to see and hard to explain. In addition, there was an expansion joint around the edge and we removed it and filled it with a foam and leveling sealant. I work at Select Realty and I'm the assistant to Darlene Martin. She has been working with you on other deals. Please please come take a look and give me some options- Sincerely, Missy Lehtomaki, FYI I'm not thrilled about a beaver system being installed and we do have a crock for a sump but no clue where to go from here.

I have a cement slab parking area in front of my attached garage. It seems to have settled a little so the water run off now flows toward the house. It used to flow away from the house. I saw your application where a hole is drilled and cement is raised. If that is possible it may solve my problem. Could have some basement finishing, but all it would be is hanging toungu and groove. The rest is done. Thanks, Brian

I have a piece of concrete next to my home which has slanted towards the residece and in heavy rains the water builds up and instead of running down the driveway it gathers in the corner and after so much build up it enters into my basement. I believe if it could be lifted slightly the water build up would run away from the house and down the driveway. Thank you...
